Ryone: New closed species!

The Ryones are a CLOSED species by me!

Lore and general over view:

They say the mouse is as mighty as the lion.. Well what happens when mouse meets lion?

   The Ryone are a chimera of a mouse and a lion who were formed deep inside a dying galaxy. In hopes to salvage the legacy of the galaxy, the last bit of engery was used to form this species. The 'seed' of the Ryone was carried throughout the universe, slowly gathering life force from other galaxies and stars, and cosmic dust. When it became strong enough, it settled down, and a large explosion of life emerged, almost like a second 'big bang'. The new galaxy that had formed was so large, the creation could be seen millions of light years away by distant galaxies, life forms, and anything and everything in between. The new galaxy was named Ryonia, and the population in honor, Ryone. Life there is prosperous, and many of the Ryone live there, while other Ryone travel across the intergalactic travelways, in hopes of many different things. Some Ryone travel to other worlds to explore, others to create a new life, and some are content living in their home galaxy.
The Rhyonia Galaxy is made up of many planets, all of which are habitable. The planets are more like Islands than separate planets. Time in the Rhyonia galaxy is the same as humans, and their gestation is the same, however Ryone's take a very long time to start showing until around 100 human years. After 1,000,000 human years, Ryone's begin to age semi-rapidly. Ryone's usually only die if they suffer a fatal wound, or catch a fatal disease. That being said, if they live healthily and take care of themselves, they can live forever.
Ryone's have very special and unique traits....
Their hair and tail fur are made up of space matter themselves.
They may have one of two forms;
Human like skin, or a fur based "skin"
-Note they do not have both forms, it is either one or the other.
Each Ryone has a marking, specifically for them. These markings are similar to tattoos. They can be any color, any shape, any size, anywhere on the body. But each Ryone's is different; no two Ryone's have the same mark. Even if they were 'identical' twins, their markings would differ, even if just slightly.
Ryone's have "base sizes" that they are usually in. The standard, or common, is around 4 feet tall, to 5 feet tall. The uncommon, Small Ryone's usually have a base size of 3 feet tall or less. Ryone's cannot get smaller than the size of an ant. And the rare Large Ryone's base heights are usually 7 feet tall and up, however they cannot be taller than 75 feet tall.
Each Ryone has the ability to change their size at will, however there are 'timers' for how long they can hold that size.
The common time is 10 - 20 minutes.
Uncommon time is 30 minutes to an hour.
Rare is 1 hour to a full 24 hours. 
The rarest timer, is they do not have one! They can hold their desired height for as long as they want. However, only very few can do this, and are usually only the very high-ups, and Ryone's who've been around since the beginning.
Timers have a "cooldown". These cooldowns are 2x's the length of their shape shifting timer. 
Ex; 20 minutes of size chaning = 40 minute time period where they cannot change size
24 hour timer = 48 hours where they cannot use their size change ability.
The only exception is if they have the very rare trait of complete control.

Ryone's do not live in a world dictated by a president, or ruler, however they have appointed leaders, or "cheifs". Cheifs only are the wisest of the wise, helping those who need it. Cheifs are called to "office" by the Ryone themselves. Their monetary system is stable, and has reached it's utopian value. However, only the planets in the Rhyonia Galaxy accept it. The Ryones who travel to distant galaxies usually have a hard time coping to, getting/earning, and understanding that world / galaxies currency.  But it is usually only a matter of time before they figure it out and can make their own living in that place.
Ryone's can eat anything that is generally non-toxic to any human or humanoid species.
Ryone's can also wear anything, whether human clothes, or other types of material. Though they do seem to have a strong love for everything socks and stocking like.
Their hair can be grown and cut and styled like human hair.
Their ears are a rounded, cat-like ear shape. They can be small, medium, or large in size.
Ryone's mate for life, if their partner dies, they will never find a new partner. They may also have offspring. No one but the Ryone know exactly how the child is conceived, however.

There are male, female, and androgynous Ryones.
